FINALLY A GOOD BAGEL IN RICHMOND
We’re a local coffee shop-loving, farmer’s market-friendly, chickens in the backyard, beers on the porch, bagel in the morning kind of company.
How we got here…
Our Nate's Bagels team has been serving great kettle-boiled, stone-baked bagels on the corner of W. Cary Street and S. Allen Ave in Richmond's Fan District since opening as a brick and mortar shop in the spring of 2018.
Being an engineer in his past life, Nate spent two years meticulously developing his bagel recipe while serving Richmonders at area farmer's markets, local grocery stores and through Bagel Club memberships. Leading up to the storefront, he asked Richmonders what they were looking for in a local bagel shop, all the while traveling back and forth to New York, New Jersey, and across Virginia making friends and getting advice from the best bagel makers out there.
We aim to perfect the classics and make a true Richmond bagel that reflects our beautiful, complex river city.
